This is great news. I think she's our best chance to boot Tampon Tim out of office. She's got name recognition. Hopefully Scott Jensen drops out and we don't waste a lot of resources needed to kick TT to the curb. Jensen lost by 7 percentage points the last time around. I have made the theory that politicians who take a far extreme anti abortion stance in purple areas actually lead to MORE abortion. Due to them blowing any chance of winning the election, more Democrats get elected and abortion laws become even more pro choice. By publicly taking a moderate stance in abortion, say something like exception for rape and incest, some stupid and arbitrary date in the 2nd trimester, etc., you actually have a chance to win and maybe implement something positive in the issue. You cannot win by taking an extremely strong position and leads to more Democrats being elected which leads to more abortions. That is a fact. Taking an extremely pro life position means you are the cause of more abortions. |
