it's was way to enjoyable being able to have warmth and sunshine/being able to hang out at firepit and such...don't need that much joy anyways

Spent 4 miles behind someone in a Jeep CHEROKEE doing 25 straddling both southbound lanes. Got in an area of the highway that I could pass and go the rest of the way at 40-45. Sad when a freaking FWD minivan has less trouble in snow than a 4WD. Well when I got near the Beloit PD, I figured I'm already 20 min late so I stopped at McD's. Had to wait at the speaker for a few minutes. Finally got my order in and was told to go to the last window. Well that didnt go well. Van would NOT move. Freaking tires were on ice and couldnt rock it. Lady in the store sent some guys out to help. Yep got stuck int eh McD's drive thru.  Their plow guy didnt show up. Lady kept apologizing and gave my order to me for free. Got to work and half the shift called in. 9 call ins and 2 others on vacation including the supervisor. A 2nd shifter called in and he only lives a few blocks away and has a 4wd.  My security cams kept sending notifications around noon. Looked and the neighbor was clearing my driveway (I've done his when he was at work). Literally thought we were gonna just get a dusting with how bad the forecasters do. Guess they have to get one right once in a while.

About 5-6 years ago, I had a turkey tag for first week of May...and I wore my snow camo on 2 days... I put both my plow blades and both snowblowers away for the summer on saturday.
