Any restrictions in Il.? Got a Fedex label from the Manufacture. What procedures/hoops did you have to jump through?
Did you have to declare it? Give info to shipper etc.? Just want everything to go smooth and legal like.

Legally you can personally ship to a gunsmith or manufacturer for improvement/repair.

What the carrier accepts depends on the carrier.  Handguns are the hardest.  I haven't shipped anything in a few years so I'm not sure who accepts what these days.

I got the label and boxed it up and took it to the FEDEX office at a Walmart.
