I saw it on their Instagram page. Things were crazy. $300 build your own gun $350-400 for complete guns ($400 for Elite, 350 everything else). Optics were so so price, nothing special. They had the new pepper spray and knives, which is sort of dumb. A bunch of people online are butt hurt because they didn't do an online sale, even though they had items that they only had a few of, so to build out a website with all the possibilities would have been financially prohibitive. Things were being sold as is. Could have been a police department trade in, could have been a gun returned from department T&E (at least one had a piece of paper in the box saying it was from Fort Worth testing). Or it could have been a lemon that was returned. You roll your dice and you take your chances. They had a complete war poet that still had the optic mounted, the dude that was buying it hesitated for a minute wondering if that was a good deal and I almost kicked him in the ass  . Unfortunately, they weren't selling frames separately. I absolutely would have picked up a DR or XR Elite frame. Now if we can get Nightstick to do the same thing (hint hint to our NS employees). I'd like to try a discounted TCM-10T  But I was shocked at the prices. I was half expecting $150 off of $1,000 gun. But I had to go to that general area to pick up something for my wife Friday morning, so I figured why not? |
