…and preferably can be put up by one person. I had an easy-up. The wind DESTROYED it at the last Central WY MG Shoot I attended. What are you guys using which survives your winds? Thank you!

Don't even bother with that type of shelter. Anything with a frame and materials strong enough to (theoretically) withstand 50+ mph winds is not going to be easily portable... if such a thing exists. I only use mine when deep in the woods, and there's usually sufficient shade where I don't actually need it. So, mine rarely goes along. |

Easy-ups are not wind-friendly without weights and tie-downs. Saw a naked ez-up that was left unattended; the cover had absconded into the distant shrubbery. A Gazelle or knock-off seem to be sturdier when staked and have the added ability to add wall panels to add more shade. |
