What: Redwolf 2 Gun Challenge Where: Angry Emu Range When: 01/18/2026 10AM - safety meeting/stage planning, overnight camping on Saturday night for those interested There will be 5 stages which are generally created with input from everyone. At a minimum a pistol, rifle, ammo, & spare mags is generally all you need. Holsters, slings, & mag pouches are recommended though. Ranges for pistols are generally 10-25 yards & 50-200 yards for rifles. 2-3 pistol (15rd mags) & 1-2 rifle mags (30rd mags) is usually enough to get through a stage. Stages can include running, barriers, reloads, & other fun challenges we come up with as the day goes on. Feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions. After years of talking about it, we are going to try out a retro theme for this month for anyone willing. If you're not interested in that, just bring your usual guns and gear. We should define “retro” because last time me and C***** showed up with A2s and M9s and got smoked I can do late 90s Line Company, Phantom Fury, or 2010s OGA dirtbag. I just want to know what “retro” means to ya’ll. Carry handles? Early GWOT? What do you have in mind? |

Maybe even an extra stage and do it as an add on at the end. My only retro guns are a M1 Carbine and a Colt Commander 1911 that I don't even have a holster for.

| We discussed behind the scenes having a stage setup with specific guns. Like one stage with an M9 and M16A1, another with an M1 carbine and a 1911, etc. I'd be fine throwing a revolver and lever gun in there too. Just something to make it different and interesting for the sake of getting people out of their comfort zone. |
