So I need the threads removed from a Walther PPQ 22 so it isn’t an assault weapon. Silver solder would be perfect.

I also am looking for a smith to permanently install the thumb hole cover on a SL8 Cali edition. Doing so would make it the same as a Mini 14.

Look into permanet epoxy for the barrel. There are some that are designed to be non removable without destruction.

I'd be leary of heating a thin barrel that hot for silver solder.
