We're finally getting rain in the White Mountains. Had a great rain last night that put a few hundred gallons of water back in my rain collection tank, (it got drained watering the trees around the house a month ago). Just had another good rain for quite a while and it created streams running down the property. Forecast looks promising for the next week, too. |

Today was probably the most intense storm I’ve seen in my almost 20 years in Arizona. Had some minor damage to stuff in my back yard. All my windows and back patio door leaked because the wind (clocked over 50 mph at my dad’s house about a mile away) blew so much rain onto the slider tracks the drain holes couldn’t keep up. I enjoy thunderstorms, but this felt like a hurricane. |
