| Likely moving to California from AZ for work in the near future. In reference to handguns are there any that are must haves or fetch a premium on the personal sale market? What should I stock up on? Thanks for the responses |

I see their posts from new locations, locations other than CA. What you have to understand is the "exodus" from California that has happened is real and significant and continues on (see footnote below). Millions have left for "greener pastures". Be careful about your question. If you bring personally owned firearms for your use, they do not need to be on the roster to be legitimate. The CADOJ needs to be notified you have them (registered?) but you are allowed to bring them. If you bring them for the sole and stated purpose of selling them inside CA, a lawyer might argue you are a de-facto importer and they might question the legality of bringing them in. | Look into the stupid laws about threaded barrels and what not. If you can get Beretta 21a's in 22lr relatively cheap, they typically sell for north of $500 when they pop up. I paid $600 for one a few years ago. |
