| The way it's written, doesn't it have a date that says you can't import or transfer magazines after that date? So if the court says it can go into affect would that mean all magazines that have been sold right now (in the time since the harney county judge stopped it) are illegal? |

It's impossible to enforce and too confusing and conflicting to even worry about. ETA: Sorry to sound trite but there is really no way to know what they will or will not do. Any speculation of a workaround is just a Wild Ass Guess (WAG), or more likely a rectal pluck. We have no idea and neither do they. |

The Measure 114 magazine ban is not dependent upon the date the mag was purchased or obtained. It impacts any magazine that either holds more than 10 rounds OR can be converted to hold more than 10 rounds. Have a 10 round mag with a detachable floor plate and you can purchase a mag extension to hold more rounds? If yes, it would be illegal. You are allowed to own a magazine that can hold more than 10 rounds as long as you keep it in your home or use it at a shooting range. However transporting the mag between your home and the range would be illegal. Odds are that it would have to be a formal, recognized range, not a place where people shoot out on public land. Magazines are not the only impacted item. Have a tube fed shotgun that you can add an extension to that would let it hold more than 10 rounds? That shotgun is then illegal under Measure 114. Like the mags you can keep it in your home or have it at a range but getting it from your home to the range and back again is illegal. |

You are absolutely correct about the ability to be readily converted. Those are pieces of the bizarre puzzle they put together. Nothing makes sense and it does nothing to help prevent violence. It appears to be random checklist of items cobbled together to show that they "did something". |
