WI Governor Tony "Pardon Me" Evers is reinstating the commision that commutes prison sentences based on behaviour and time served. The last time this commision was in session was during the tenure of Gov. Tommy Thompson, over twenty five years ago. It's bad enough tha Evers holds the record for the number of full pardons enacted during his tenure as Governor, now he is commuting prison sentences of "model" prisoners to alleviate prison overcrowding. I'm sure this show of compassion will sit well with victims of crime and their families. Gary |
