Anyone local going to this event? As an owner of a KL Cherokee, I always felt I wasn’t the target audience. The local traffic is always jammed up during all of these events (Rod runs, squatted trucks, rice burners, et cetera), and I never wanted to get into a long wait in traffic to go see what’s happening. I do, however, appreciate the tax revenue that comes into the county from these! I’d like to hear your thoughts and experiences on attending these events. Was there a lot of camaraderie? Was it an ego boost with who received the most ducks? Anything to do besides walk around a venue, sweaty, looking at vendors? Thanks for the feedback! |

| Never been to the Jeep one but like any vehicle related rally in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg just accept ahead of time that traffic will be slow and full of assholes and don't let it ruin your fun. |
I think one of the major problems with America today is not enough families sit down to a big plate of squirrels momma just fried up.

I went to go look around. Didn't take our '46 Willy's as the rain chance was a bit high for my liking. Glad I made that decision. Took our '46 to last year's Invasion. Had a great time with it. A lot of people stopped me and the wife to look at it and have their picture taken while sitting in it. We are planning on taking it next year. |
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.
