Anyone else receive a petition in the mail to put on the ballot an amendment to MI's constitution to require a valid ID be shown to vote in our elections in the mail? I did and wonder is it legit or just a way to put me on junk mail and call list?

I haven’t seen anything in the mail, but last summer people were going around getting signatures. Usually at events in the various towns. Saw them in GR and Holland.

I didn’t hear more, so I wonder if that effort fell short.

AFAIK MI already requires ID to vote. I always have to show mine. The loophole is maybe the ballot drop box.

The drop box and earlyvoting needs to be done away with.
