| Good morning, gents. I'm a regional manager for a workplace safety company based in Colorado with technicians spread throughout the company. I've got a problematic part-time employee who also lives in Colorado. Can part-time employees that have been terminated draw unemployment in Colorado? |

https://cdle.colorado.gov/qualifying-for-benefits In order to qualify for benefits, you must: Be unemployed through no fault of your own. Be able, available, and actively seeking work. Have earned $2,500 during your base period. “Fault” is generally defined as the claimant’s exercise of control or choice over the circumstances that cause the separation. The claimant can be disqualified from benefits if it is determined that he or she exercised control or choice over the circumstances that caused the separation and if the conduct falls under one of the categories in CESA that would result in a disqualification from receiving benefits. If the employee's performance, behavior or the like is cause for termination it is easy to document it as such and therefore the employee is at fault. |

| And I've got all that screenshot and/or is in company emails or chats which are permanent. We've got a meeting scheduled tomorrow. I'm certain he's not going to show because he refuses to acknowledge me or accept the meeting invite. And get this. Dude even tried to schedule his own meeting on his time. Probably not his intent, but I can't record the meeting if I'm not the organizer. |
