| Anyone ordered ammo online since the July 1st? I remember HB25-1133 being talked about but I forgot. Essentially one of the provisions in it is you must sign for ammo. You guys been seeing this? I love and hate this state |

I love and hate this state lots of places already require a signature (or at least an acknowledgement on their website that if it goes missing and you opted out, you're SOL). i mean....*SOMEBODY* at the delivery address will have signed for it, but those little mobile signature pads they use are spotty at best and incredibly unreliable. it would be a miracle if the signature on that matched *ANYONE'S* actual signature. |

Yep. I have tried to order from one retailer and promptly had my order cancelled because I was in colorado. Waiting to see when others have figured out the "goto" retailers. I also tried to buy ammo at scheels like I normally do for small to medium quantities of 9mm. All locked up. Couldn't find anyone readily available to unlock it, and it didn't seem like they had the kind I wanted anyway so I decided to leave and buy online. See above |

Buy enough in one go to make the hassle of going the extra mile to get it worthwile. Stock up on enough cases so you don't have to dance thru hoops for a few boxes. Its a good SOP anyway. All the big retailers to my knowledge all play their stupid games. But this is a public forum, lets not make a list of random small retailers that our DA can threaten for not knowing our small state infringements. |

Cheyenne is about an 80-90 minute drive for me. I went up there a few times since April 1, 2025. I usually broke even - even when going for sales, but it was more for principle. I'm not enabling Demmunists if I can help it. That's one way I can avoid funding their pissing on our rights. BTW, I believe sales tax in Cheyenne is 6% total/out the door, so even better than the roughly 8.5% around here before the excise tax. |

Haven't been to Cheyenne in almost 10 years. What options are available up there? Looking online I see sportsmans warehouse but they are probably the most expensive retail store for ammo that I've experienced. And there is mile high shooting but they are geared more towards precision rifle afaik. When scheels gets the ammo I want in stock in going to try and order for pickup, to try and avoid the hassle of trying to get the ammo section unlocked and walked to the front by an employee. |

I'm not totally dialed-in. There are the "chains" which include Murdoch's and Sportsman's Warehouse. There are also some local places, but I'm not familiar. One has a billboard on 25, south of 80. Maybe some locals will chime-in. |

For ammo I usually drive further. Summer time is roadtrip time, and most red states are much more family friendly than Colorado. I would rather hit the road than compromise by going to a similar attraction in state. Big box stores can be more expensive but have sales that are well advertised. The last whole case of m855 I opened was dated 2013. I've played around with smaller amounts of odd calibers, or bullet weights, but for loading up I can wait out for the deals. |

Mile High setup a really slick shop. Good powder selection if you reload. They can probably set you up on case quantities of whatever ammo you want too. |

I ordered from ammunitiondepot.com today. They charge the extra tax and require a copy of your ID to verify age to satisfy the new CO law. Total bullshit, but if you need ammo they will sell it to CO residents. |
