I want to do some geological exploration in the 7 mile canyon area. When I was in Moab this May, I had a rental Jeep Wrangler, but those Budget/Avis etc rentals really are just base model Jeeps, and there were some ruts and rocky areas I did not feel a base Jeep was well suited for. Obviously I do not want a tour operation. Tour operators are not going to stop for a rock hound nor do I expect them to. This fall I want to go back with a better vehicle. I'm not picky, either an AVT or an off-road Jeep. Can anyone suggest a couple of rental places in Moab that have good equipment at a fair price? Thanks! |
| I don't know how the pricing compares to other places, but my parents rented a jeep from https://canyonlandsjeep.com/ when we went to Moab. They were very nice, their stuff was in good condition, gassed up and aired down ready to go. When my dad added me as a driver they noticed the vet tag on my license and threw on a 10% discount as well. |
