| Shits collecting dust boys... need to grease the old girls up and have at it. Anyone know of any good places in between Dallas & Oklahoma? I was a frequent visitor to the ol Greenville Pit before he sold the land and had my fun at Mickey's Lease down in Dallas years ago.... Anything remotely similar to these anymore out there floating around I'd be happy to contribute $$. |

Mickey's place still kicking, no? Somewhere I have a pic of my keys from 2012ish to 2022. Only let it go when we got the country place. Unfortunately there's not a good enough range yet for visitors. |

The Beltline Road Bridge has been closed about a year now after the bridge supports washed out. PITA to work around and most of the properties I wander around on are on the other side of the river. |

I can confirm Mickey's off S. Beltline Road is still going strong. Its not quite the "wild west" it was 15+ years ago but its one of the few (if only) ranges where you can bring a Maduce, large appliances & steel targets, and all the tannerite you can afford and have at it as long as you clean up after yourself. South Beltline Road over the Trinity River bridge is currently closed but as a lease keyholder you have access/easement rights to drive around the road closure barricades to get to the property. The Road and Bridge are supposed to open back up later this year or early next year if I recall correctly. I only get up there a couple times per year as I live in the Austin area so its a 3 hour drive each way for me and I have a another local private range much closer to the house for standard range type activities. I actually just sent off my deposit check this week for my 2027 gate key. |

Please excuse my thread derail OP, but I have fond memories of FALFiles shoots at Mickey’s 20 or more years ago. Trying to shoot empty oxygen/argon/whatever gas bottles at 400 yards is what started me on the path to shooting at distances greater than 150-ish yards, which was the farthest I shot until Mickey’s. Sorry I’m of no help OP. Good luck with your search. |

There's only so many bridges/roads that cross the river and it doesn't seem to be a priority to keep any of them open. I think we were 10 - 11 months to fix the sinkhole on Malloy Bridge Rd. Now there's a new dip developing in front of the repair. So much for doing it right the first time. |

My understanding is that membership is usually closed for most of the year, but at the end of every year there are folks who for whatever reason don't renew and their spots are offered to others.
