Stopped in this place yesterday for the 1st time while hitting the Springfield Gun Shop Circuit. Sigwo Arms 522 W Commercial St, Springfield, MO 65803 (417) 299-3703 https://www.sigwoarms.com/ Thinking the name had something to do with Sig Sauer, I asked them what does the name Sigwo stand for? According to the 2 guys working there, the Owner is retired military and Sigwo stands for Signals Warrant Officer. I stole these pics from google images.   They had good assortment of new and used guns, AR's and AK's. Used handgun prices looked good. Not a rip off like Anchor Tactical... did I say that out loud? I snapped this short 19 second video of them making 5.56 at a rate of 800rds per hour. They can make up to 3500rds per hour at full speed.  Sigwo Arms Springfield, Mo 5.56 production They sell Super Safeties - $180 installed. Buy it and they will install it in your gun on the spot. If you are paranoid about being on that list, you can pay cash. By the way, you and I, are already on the list. Otherwise there's a kid at the Springfield Gun Show selling drill em yourself suppressors that also sells Super Safeties for $125. They also do hot tank blueing, barrel threading, and laser engraving for NFA items. Their location is pretty close to Eagle Arms which I always stop at. Side note: Y'all need to outfit 1 your 2 to 7 AR15's with a Super Safety. They are legal here in Missouri and we need to increase the proliferation of these things. Every AR15 owner needs one. Side note I asked Sigwo if they were making their own Super Safeties or buying them elsewhere. They said they were getting them from Deeznuts Tactical. https://deeznutztactical.com/product-category/arproducts/ So yes they are making about a $60-$70 profit on selling these in their shop. While the $180 price includes install, they are not lowering the price if you want to install it yourself. If you are worried about a future knock on the door... maybe those few $ extra are worth it to you. I also stopped in Eagle Arms and asked if they sold Super Safeties. They said NO!!! |

Meh. I heard a couple guys from All about guns ended up over there so I stopped in. Dude sitting behind the counter. Open sign. Buzzer to be let in? Naw,fuck all that. Plenty of other gun shops in town. I spent lots of money in All about guns but that will be my only visit to Sigwo. I guess I’m just petty like that. They won’t last. |

I noticed the back roll of up door of the shop was their major security concern and they ought to put some concrete bollards out front of it to prevent a vehicle from crashing through it. I stop in All About Guns from time to time. @Mattgunguy loves that dumpy little shop.  The shop that I think is the craziest is Mountainside Outfitters on Hwy 60 in Fordland. When it 1st opened they had guns everywhere with open ammo sitting right next to the gun. I told them 2 things are gonna happen. 1. Some inner city yute is gonna grab a handgun and run out the door with it. 2. They are going to get robbed with their own gun loaded up with ammo sitting next to. I showed my buddy the Glock 19 that was sitting in file cabinent display off to the side. We could've easily pocketed that gun and walked out with it. They laughed at me. A year later I went in and all the guns were tethered down and most of the ammo was removed. |

"All about guns" was the little shop on Glenstone south of Sunshine right? If so, I stopped by and now it's "Atom Arms" but he didn't really have inventory out. |

Check out Eagle Armory in Springfield if you want a shop that's got a HUGE selection or guns and accessories....all the guys there know their stuff, and it's never too crowded. Prices are OK...not great, but about the same as what you would pay online after the $30 transfer fee. I've bought several guns and a suppressor from them...it's a nice and clean shop that's laid out pretty well. I will go back. |

I wanted to try some non 5.56 ARs with the SS and I’ve had good results. The first was a KS47 that I had previously SBRd and it runs 100% with the SS. I also have another dedicated SBR lower with another SS that has a CMMG 5.7x28mm upper in it and I enjoy it as well, as I especially like the 5.7x28mm. I’m enjoying both and if you haven’t gotten on the Taurus TX-22 with FFT, at 1900RPM, it is unbelievably fast as well! TX-22 with FFT Back to the topic, I will put this on my list when I travel through that area. |

Eagle Armory and Elite Firearms are part of my Springfield gun shop circuit. I have bought more guns from Elite than Eagle Armory. Eagle Pawn does have some nice used handguns in there. 6 months ago they had a Nickle CZ85 that I should've jumped on. It went fast. |

Well shit, the Atrius might be my new favorite FRT. No dicking around with taking out FCG. Pull the safety and replace it with the 3 position Ambi FRT selector. Install a H3 buffer and your good to go. The Sigwo version comes with an over travel bar for Gazelle triggers. It's an AS Designs style lever blocker. No need to modify / cut your trigger. Stopped in Sigwo yesterday and chatted with the owner. He has long gray hair and spent 23 years in the Army retiring as a CW3 or CW4. A friend that was with me bought a FRT for his Vector 45acp. The owner mentioned that they do most of their own work in house but send barrel threading jobs to Anderson Gun Repair in Springfield (1713 W College St, Springfield, MO 65806). After walking Commercial Street and peaking in all the little shops, we headed to Anderson Gun Repair. I'd never been in that shop either. They have a couple handguns and rifles for sale. The whole shop is filled with equipment for working on guns. I bought a H3 buffer from them for the going rate of $75. I might have to drop my Colt Series 70 off with them and get them to replace the mainspring. |

I work in Hollister and go to Springfield at least once a month so not a big deal. I like stopping by Eagle from time to time, Sigwo is on my list to check out now. |
