I just found out there are plans in the works to create a new public shooting range off Zero Lake Road (just west of Houston).  This would be on Borough land, +/- 500 acres.  The plan seems to be similar to Maud Road (not its real name) range. Edit: Kenny and Patti Barber Shooting Range.  Still in the very early stages of planning.

Could be interesting, as there are plans in the works for a range in the Sutton area.

While I hate to see more formal ranges, getting them established now is a good thing. I hate to see how much it’s growing up around here.
