I have a friend who lives in Ontario and just did a RPAL course and has applied for his license. What are good options for online vendors (US examples listed):
Ammo (SGAmmo and TargetSportsUSA) Cheap/Quality AR/AR Parts MFG (PSA) Deals site (gun.deals, Ammoseek, etc) General firearms merchandise (Midway, Brownells) Online gun shop (Buds, GrabAGun, Preppers, etc) How are prices compared to the US (exchange rate excluded)? Any decent sites like arfcom he should lurk/join? I'm going to suggest he get a basic AR, a nice shorty 870 and a G19 or G48. Is there anything that he could get in Canada that would be a better choice to start his collection? Thanks for the info |

Well buying from the US is problematic for a lot of stuff. Itll be easier when DOS transfers responsibility for many items to the Commerce Dept. he can check out www.canadiangunnutz.com You can join too also. They, much like ARFCOM have vendors on the site as well as an E&E. Prices like everything Canadian are more...its the BOHICA clause in our Constitution that says so

Thanks, I wasn’t saying he should try to buy from those vendors, just asking what Canadian equivalents are
Is there a rough % increase across the board (excluding the exchange rate) or is it variable? Just trying to get a feel for what reasonable prices should be for him |
