The 2 I've used previously are either out of business (D&D in Troy) or their Gunsmith retired(Wessel in Warren).

Have a stripped thread, and while I've used Brownells ' oversized kit in the past, I figure I'd go ahead and get it converted to standard 8-40 threads

Try Doug Jones of Accurail Rochester Hills. He drilled and tapped my buddy’s Swedish Mauser for a scope mount for vintage sniper rifle matches. He has done a lot of pistolsmithing for me. Top notch work.

There is also Williams up in Davidson.
