Looking to move to SD from MN in 2026. Yeah I know, the usual joke is your state’s full but we vote hard right/America first and are good neighbors. We’re open to renting for a year but the house would need to be dog-friendly (with a fence). We could really use a realtor with good insight on property values. I see lots of houses priced at double their 2020 value but they’re also not selling. Need a local to help navigate this. We’re not tire kickers. Thanks. |

Not a realtor. Double 2020 value per zillow is the normal asking price. 1.5 times is the selling price. Anything that isn't cookie cutter specific builds has higher prices. Dunno your budget and wishes but figure $400k for a decent middle class place. |
