As the title says, im looking to build a NY legal 9mm AR. I haven’t built anything in several years and I pinned my old preban 556 guns with 10 rounders. I now have a my pistol license and my range recently approved pistol caliber carbines in addition to handguns. Now I finally have a reason to build a 9mm carbine. For range use, id like to retain detachable magazines so feature-less is my preference. Budget build. Who ships uppers to NY still? Who makes a non threaded 9mm 16 in barrel? Magwell adaptor or dedicated lower ? Thordsen stock or what other options? ETA: im not on here as much as i used to be so forgive me if i only check this post every other day  |
| I don't know that anyone sells a non-threaded 9mm barrel only these days. Dark storm used to, but doesn't seem to be on their website anymore. CMMG sells a non-threaded upper but I don't think that will fall under the category of budget build (at least not to me). Last I remember hearing, Thordsen was shutting down, so you'll have to go hunting around to try and find a stock. |
