If the NJ NICS unit wanted to they could could go back to the way it was years ago when the FFL made a phone call and you were approved within a few minutes. That's why I thought it might be a good idea to make a thread to show how the wait times vary day by day. Oh yeah, FPM.

When the FTF transfers were required to be done at a FFL the first one I did i was the seller and it only took 15-20 minutes.

You make a good point. If the local gun shops and FFL's in NJ want to keep and increase their business they should band together and financially support the NJ 2A organizations fighting for our rights and they should also become more vocal and politically involved to change the anti-gun mentality in Trenton.

Actually there were a couple of days a few months ago where people were getting approved in a few hours on the same day of purchase instead of days later. The last time I was approved in 15 minutes was almost 20 years ago. The longest I ever had to wait for approval was 4 days right after the Sandy Hook school shooting.
