I was in Fleet Farm Waukee and there were half a dozen Chinese males all about age 30 and all almost 5 ft tall. They had the biggest smiles you ever saw, because they were buying a muzzleloader. The clerk bore sighted it for them. P.S. be careful out there this deer season. |
I suggest we trade a question mark in for a maybe.

Just got home from opening day of youth season. One very big doe showed up but didn't give a clear shot. Had a first timer with us, hope we can get him in range of a nice one. There's always hope that the ones you saw are doing it right, but I agree, there are a lot of morons out there too. |

| Muskets are a steep learning curve. If you don’t run a wet patch down the bore after each shot then a dry patch your seating depth changes. How much powder makes a huge difference and not just any type of powder will work. There are lots of ways to screw up if you don’t know what you are doing. And that’s even before you get to gun safety… I was wondering if I should say something but I didn’t hear any English… |
