With the rain comes the nice green grass so far this summer…and a sh!t ton of having to keep up with mowing three different places! But hopefully it’ll mean bumper crops for the MIL’s various farmland, so I guess it kind of evens out. Anybody else tired of mowing yet?

I still spend most of my time in Minnesota, but I'm now making more trips across the border because every time I come back my yard looks terrible. Definitely been putting the miles on my mower. I'll take that over a brown dead yard though. |

| When my kid was little I used to mow trails in my 1 acre front yard for him to ride his go cart and atv around in. He was so short that he couldn’t see over the grass and weeds between the paths. He was fun to watch as he explored the mazes. Now he’s 12 years old and he’s too tall and etc for the mazes. |

Finally got the first cutting done on part of my alfalfa fields last week. My usual yield is about 90 round bails per year, we got 57 off of just east half of the fields. Hoping the rest gets done soon. |
