Just landed a great new job at Advent Health Orlando. Moving to the area is the next couple weeks. Been living in the Fort Lauderdale area since 2019. I live full-time in a RV...so I will be checking out the campgrounds in the area. Looking forward to possibly meeting some of y'all. |

I too avoid that entire area. Last time I was in that area I was shooting a 3 day regional F-Class match (PMRPC) and on my drive home I thought I had a stroke. Genuinely called the wife to ask if I sounded ok. Traffic and people in that area are on a whole different level, and I live in the Tampa Bay Area.

| Man I have a very high opinion of the advent health hospital in down town Orlando. My wife had an extended stay there 2 years ago to the day. We ended up spending 12 days down there and every one from the surgeon to the nursing staff was exceptional. We live in Jax but were visiting the house of the mouse when her incident occurred. |

No shortage of RV parks around here. Narrow-down the area a bit and you may get better advice. Orlando is a big place, geographically, and varies quite a bit depending on what area you’re in. Advent has been good to my family, both in healthcare and as a client. I’m in land surveying/development and Advent has ER’s, hospitals, urgent care, and offices all over the place. They’re a great client for us, and bring us consistent work. Most of the RV parks are going to be closer the the Disney area, south and west areas of Orlando. There’s a few decent one’s in the Winter Garden area, and also Kissimmee. There’s even one in Poinciana that is getting some nice renovations after selling off a piece to Advent…I know because I did the field survey work for it. A lot depends on what environment you’re looking for (country or country-club) and where. |

Hey Guys....John here. The move went well. Ended finding a great little RV park on Colonial out past UCF. The new job is working out well too. I work in cardiac surgery at AdventHealth Orlando. Looking forward to meeting some of y'all sometime. |

As former 5+ year resident of the UCF area. I will give two other range options. Chululota Sportmans Club is good for sighting and testing. Plus they are an FFL. For matches, check out Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club. Lots of matches and a nice 300 yd rifle range. When I am done with current gig in the panhandle, plan is to retire retire in Central FL. |

There's a campground in west Ocoee on SR50 with easy access to the toll roads(stage stop). Mom stayed there in her rv while she was house shopping. Decent monthly rates. |

Hotter in the summer than the coast, colder in the winter too. No sea breezes morning or evening either. Traffic is horrible and a good percentage of your neighbors will be pedos who like to hang out at Disney. Then again nowhere in Florida is getting better so do your best to enjoy it. |
