Moving to Casper (Page 1 of 2)

Unless by some miracle my work allows to switch to a team in Cheyenne, I'll be moving to Casper here very soon. With that being said, can anyone recommend a realtor that can help once we get my house in Cheyenne sold. Thanks in advance |

John Kornkven was my realtor up here and took good care of us. Did a lot of leg work also. And Chic-fil-a would be awesome. Supposedly Jack in the Box and Del Taco are lookin' this way though. That would be awesome. |

| I was born and raised in Casper. Beautiful countryside west of there, and lakes. Lot of old school people there. And best part is that it's not a nuclear target like Cheyenne. Though you do have to consider the supervolcano which is also apparently a Russian target. (Frick'n stupid Russians.) |

Rehashing this old thread, as I just applied for a job in Casper. Any new advice anyone wants to throw out there? Coming from the midwest and the house/property I have now, it seems unlikely to match that near Casper. |

Howdy. Just wanted to reach out on this thread to some folks in Casper. Wanting to relocate my family up there this year around August, possibly sooner. We've been looking at WY for almost a year now. Cheyenne and Laramie were options, but Casper is the ticket. Seeing if y'all might have some leads on job openings. Indeed is a bit sparse with offerings/openings. I can shoot over my resume if you have any sort of leads. I appreciate any help y'all can lend with this. |

Casper, being away from everything has its own identity. |

Oilfield's a good place to get situated, and then one can always branch out from there. As windy as it is in the Casper area, Cheyenne's the next level. Casper's also sited more centrally, so it's closer to get to points north and west. More outdoor opportunities within easier reach. Gimme a holler if you get up here. We have a whole bunch of guys who get together for shootin' and grillin'. |
