The title basically says it all. The wife, a life long Alaskan, is happy that we’ll be moving back to Anchorage in 2027. With that said, we’re looking for a reliable moving company to move our household goods from Western Washington to Anchorage since we plan on living back in the city since most of her family is still there. We both are retired from good careers, so there is really nothing pinning us down in Washington anymore, outside of our adult children and grandchildren. She definitely knows Alaska and basically travels home 3-4 times a year to help her aging mother out. Me, I spent a total of 15 years in Anchorage and know most of the pros and cons. Plus, I fly up there once a year, in the winter, since to me, that’s Alaska. I should note that we’re strong Conservatives and definitely not bringing any Liberal West Coast BS with us and I’m also retired military, so any information on moving companies and barge companies would be greatly appreciated!! |
