Surprisingly no one EVER talks about it! Can anyone real familiar with Milwaukee, name the streets that basically form its perimeter…North, South, East, and West? |

I live west of MKE and drive through the city on a weekly basis. There are areas that my family refers to it as the “No Insurance Zone” and to drive defensively in these areas: Clockwise Good Hope east from 91 st to Teutonia Ave Teutonia south to silver spring Silver Spring east to Green Bay Road Green Bay south to Capital Drive Capital Drive east to Humbold Humbold south to North Ave North Ave west to Interstate 43 I 43 south to I 94 west I 94 west to Hwy 175 north Hwy 175 north to North Ave North Ave west to Lisbon Ave Lisbon Ave NW to Appleton Ave Appleton Ave NW to 91 st 91 st to Good Hope Road And anything in that perimeter. Of course, there are pockets to stay away from the have large apartment complexes like Silver Spring and Hwy 100 and 91st and Brown Deer Rd. |

Pretty much nailed it, I work off of 34th and hampton and i come from the far west burbs, its an adventure everyday on my commute |
| It's been my experience that despite being a level IV trauma center, if I was shot, I'd prefer to be at St Joseph ER than many others in the Milwaukee area (Freodert being the only better one). Something about the volume of practice they get in treating said injury. |
