I'm out here in Miami for almost year for a military assignment and have seen a few billboards for the Miami Gun Show next weekend, 19-20 September. Coming from Texas, I've checked out the American Gun Shows when those pass through Temple. Decent, but rarely find anything to buy. Is it worth going to as an out-of-state resident? My orders are TDY, so I doubt I could buy anything without having to deal with shipping it back to Texas immediately. |

It's only worth it to see everything available at one place. Or, if you wali around with cash in your pocket looking for private sellers being offered peanuts by the dealers and counter with cash offers. I've picked up some amazing deals doing this. I don't even look at the tables anymore. Lol Fyi: What are the laws for private firearm sales in Florida? (Standard In-State Sales) Under Florida state law, private transfers of firearms between two eligible Florida residents do not require a background check, state permit, or mandatory waiting period. Core Requirements for Standard Private Sales: * Residency: Both buyer and seller MUST be Florida residents.
