This year I finally assembled my M203 set up. I'm slowly acquiring M781 rounds and components. Last month I was able to shoot it for the first time at a friend's property. The property limited my shots to less then 43 meters. I'm curious if anyone nows of a place within 2 hours of Westland that would allow shooting the M781 chalk rounds at longer distances? The availability to shoot bursting chalk rounds would be a bonus. |
| 2 hours, no but between Fairview and Atlanta there is a 225x450m gravel pit on state land that would probably work for you. It’s off of M33 about 1 mile north of Mackintyre |

I'm on the west coast, but you'd be welcome to shoot them at my house (with the caveat that I'd get to shoot at least once). A hair over 2 hours in good weather though, maps says 2.5 hours 50 yard range at the house and a rifle range a short walk away (not sure of the arc on these, but could get 100-200yards Ignore IN, I've been inactive for 10+ years |
