Originally from Texas. Currently living in Western Colorado. I have buddies that live in both NC and SC and for relocating they tell me I'll get a better bang house pricing wise in SC. I have visited both and I really love the vibe of SC. What areas would be good to look at that provide easy movement back and forth from NC as it would be most likely the Charlotte area where i'd find work. |

Lot of good manufacturing jobs in and around the Monroe NC and Chesterfield, SC in the automotive and aerospace parts. I know of one large German company that manufactures automotive and industrial parts in the Cheraw, Fort Mill, and Rockhill areas. The COL in Chesterfield county is cheaper compared to Fort Mill and Rockhill. Those are considered commuter cities for those that work in the Charlotte area so housing cost are higher. |
