Calling all of you to join us for a meat up for liberty. I’m going to pick up the torch and carry on a cool tradition. I will nail down the location once I can get a rough head count. I know. I've eaten at Vila Brazi multiple times. I'm not sure how big a crowd they can handle. I'm happy to talk to the manager about what kind of ruffian crew he can accommodate. But I'd want to have a firm-ish count. I don't want to tell him 50 and have 25 show up. Or the opposite. I know this was an issue for the former organizer. As for the Saucer, I'm not sure you people can handle that much debauchery in a single day. But maybe I can have my 21st plate done by then.

The main dining area is much less crowded than Fogo was. There's always been plenty of room to back up your chair without running into someone at the next table. My experience is that he's a super nice guy. And staff has always been friendly, but attentive. I think the food is better, but I'm biased since it's a 5 minute drive for me. |

OK... I know there are some fancy-beer drinkers among us. If there's any interest in a pint or two after dinner, I can talk to the GM at Saucer about reserving us some space in the Pub of Love. Yes, that's what it's called. It's a room in the back corner that we can curtain off. And who knows... maybe it will be plate party time by then. That's doubtful, but the odds are not zero. I chatted with the manager at Vila Brazil here in Garland. The guy was pretty excited about hosting KoW and seemed easy to work with. They've got a group room that could do up to 30 he said. Just a suggestion... I'd recommend, if coming from the west, going down the I-30 access road past the Shell station and Whataburger then using the west entrance to the Bass Pro parking lot. Garland (all parts) has a problem with people running red lights...they're just ignoring the lights and stop signs. The Chaha @ Bass Pro intersection is pretty bad. mm |

And if you do go thru the light on Basspro, be aware that the Right Turn Only lanes are just a suggestion. People go straight from those all the time. |

I can make it but may run late. Burleson show closes @ 5 PM & I have a reputation for selling guns at 4:55 PM to Hispanics without middle names, which makes the NICS check take 30 minutes of processing before sometimes getting lucky. Put me down for 1 seat. |

It's time for another bump. For the folks who attended the events in Addison and the mid cities, is Garland just too far East? Or is it a lack of official endorsement by the Big Guy? Because it seems like we're not getting much traction on this one. |

If it was a regular occurrence I wouldn't go. But it's about the end of my travel length for something like this. |
