Just got back. Was 8 years since the last time we were there. Not much change and that is what we we like about the island. We brought another couple and their daughter with us this time since it was on their bucket list of places to go. The daughter was not impressed that she couldn't just walk to places she wanted to go shopping at when she wanted to, I told her that was the point, this aint the true tourist Hawaii. Never change Kauai, never change! |

We don’t think we can afford to retire here, but, we can afford to work & live here! |

We are chilling on the island right now Just waiting for the storm(Lowell) to pass by. We are at a new build home at the golf course Kukui’ula. Just outside Poipu I’m here with my wife our 22 year old daughter and her boyfriend We arrived on the 2nd, fly out on the 12th We did the Jurassic helicopter tour and visited lots of different beaches This is a very beautiful island Hope it weathers the storm without too much damage |
