Gonna Repost this in the MO forum. So, Wife and I are in KC for a week and a half for her Job .... Already been to Joes for Ribs, and I have to admit - Fantastic. Food Recommendations are welcome. Steak - Sea Food - BBQ - Italian - Mexican - Asian, whatever - I like to eat. Staying in overland park area. Anything Gun Related I shouldn't miss? Museum's ? She wanted to go to the KC game but its gonna be a bit cold for that with the clothes we have. Thanks |

Just listing some stuff off the top of my head GT Distributors is at 103 and metcalf. Its a good size first responder store and they have a bit of gun stuff Olathe gun store is worth a stop, they have a collection of old double barrel shotguns on display. World War One museum is worth a stop |

WWI Museum is a must. Lots of great food in town. Especially BBQ. Wolfepack, LCs, and Scott’s Kitchen are some of my favorites bbq joints. Don’t forget to get some burnt ends while you’re there. It’s what KC is known for. Roger’s Sporting Goods in Liberty is worth the stop if you are in to hunting / fishing. KC is a cool town, and there is lots to see and do. |

WW1 museum and Steamboat Arabia are great. Negro leagues museum BBQ bus tour. They take you to Gates, LCs, and the OG Arthur Bryant’s. KC history in between stops. I would imagine this is dependent on good tour guides. Boulevard Brewing tour The Majestic downtown is a cool old building with great service and steaks. Dining is in the basement. Typically they have some live jazz down there. Spendy but worth it. From the prohibition era. Grunauer. Downtown. Awesome building. Authentic Austrian cuisine. Good luck |
