Jarrell residents here?
Questions: Flood zone area. Liberal blocks to avoid. Any high crime area to avoid. Thinking about moving there or Georgetown. Thanks |

Watch out for Tornadoes. That's about where "Tornado Alley" starts.

Not a bad place. Like Georgetown it is growing like crazy. We are selling here outside of Georgetown and building on our place in Florence. What part of California? My relatives from Southern California and the Central Valley are ending up in Burnet County.

I don't go that way often, but I'm blown away by how that place has exploded since the tornado.

Quoted: Everywhere within an hour to an hour and a half drive of Austin is seeing massive growth. It's crazy. View Quote Just a guesstimate, but I'd say probably 50% of my business is tied up in North Dallas/McKinney/Allen/Frisco and then the Austin/San Antonio corridor right now. I used to push for more sales into California to get some of that democrat Hollywood money. Now, why? I'm turning business down right now because Texas demand is incredible. |

I'll be heading there once our real estate agent plans out the houses we want to check out.

Quoted: There is a range in Walberg/Georgetown The Firing Line. View Quote I'll have to check that place out. If you want indoor ranges the closest ones are probably Red's in Pflugerville and Shady Oaks over in Cedar Park. For those days when it is too cold or rainy or whatever to shoot outdoors. |

It was in the $400 range a year to join. |

Quoted: I will be in Jarrell on 14-17 October and I'm hoping to find a house. Any areas to avoid? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I live in Jarrell. PM me for info I will be in Jarrell on 14-17 October and I'm hoping to find a house. Any areas to avoid? Jarrell is small. Like, literally no stop lights in the town. Services are minimal. One independent grocery store in town (unless you count the small Mexican market). Most everything else (Walmart, HEB) are 10-15 minutes down I 35 in Georgetown. The east side of the freeway is more populated than the west side. There isn’t a lot of crime, but there has been some episodes of “teens” going through neighborhoods checking car doors. Probably ghetto goblins from Killeen, or Austin. The majority of the new homes fall outside of Jarrell PD’s jurisdiction, and are covered by Williamson County SO. I am not familiar with their response times. I’d look on the west side of the freeway for houses, but there isn’t as much construction there as there is on the east side. The east side is a little bit more “economically diverse”, but not terrible. There are a lot of new homes being built, and it will basically be a suburb of Georgetown in a few years. In the meantime, if you can deal with driving a short distance, for shopping, and restaurants, then Jarrell could be right for you. |

With AT&T it’s much better |
