It could be a nice way to get to know fellow members and neighbors and have some fun. |

I'd be interested.
Subscribed for any other takers. I know we usually don't have to much traffic in the ND page. |

Would be cool, but a lot of us seem pretty spread out. Might make things difficult.

I finally have a more open schedule, I'll be down if time allows.

Count me. I'll try to get time off.

Well I am old and decrepit but I do have lots of time. A meet up would be interesting. I could hike until I can't then say fare well. I am near Sentinel Butte.

Just FYI
American pioneer corps hike this Saturday on the Mah Deeh Heey trail, starting at the Wolf Trailhead just South of Watford City. Going to do about 7.5 miles. Come out and shake out your gear, and shake a leg...probably literally. Starts at 10AM Saturday 1-23-2021. Bring ruck, rifle, and cold weather gear. Here is the pin drop for the start. Obviously I did not get there after boasting about all my free time. How did it go?

I'm already itching to go again. Anyone else up for a hike/ruck? Pick a trail in your AO and let's go! Alternatively, lets arrange a group meet up in central ND somewhere for bbq, beer, burgers, and bourbon. Attached File |

I'd enjoy that. Maybe a hike or ATV ride somewhere, and then beers?

Welcome, fellow firearm enthusiast! I look forward to many of years of your productive, knowledgeable, and insightful commentary into the hobby we share and treasure.

Over on the east side, we have the North Country Trail that goes through the Sheyenne National Grasslands.
I go camping out there quite often. Might be another spot for a meet up? Edit with a better hotlink for the area. |

Probably a pavilion in the area to bbq and bullshit at after too. Anyone familiar with that area? |

Usually stop at the Duner' for a beer but haven't been across the street to the other place to eat yet. Prefer to cook at the campsite. Will have to check it out.

I put it off for a couple years. Things kind of came together in a bad way and I needed a change. Company I worked for was sold to a corporate entity, Whom actually treated me well, Sent me to school on their dime and gave me some freedoms that most others weren't allowed. However as a whole, the change was not positive, Some of the coworkers I have known and worked with for half my life on and off quit and moved on to other jobs because of the dramatic change. I became more stressed. They began having me teach newbies how to do what took me years of my life to learn, The deeper I became involved in the management side of the new company the more I realized I didn't want to be part of it. I became aware that the greenies I was training were being started at 5 to 8 dollars more an hour that I was. I had been there for over 10 years. Then for the second time in 2 years the home I was living in had been sold and we needed to move again. The first I had lived in and managed for 12 years. The new offer put me in a beautiful home. Gave me a large raise, Put me in a unique place as a specialist crew with people I know. So I took it. Company owner accepted me like I am family. Big change. But so far I love it. |
