I've been sharing an apartment in Mobile with my gf for about a year, and when we moved in, it was fairly nice, reasonable rent, good services, etc., but now, I've been getting email alerts from the management about drug use, fights, pool use, radios, quiet hours and a whole host of other shit that leads me to believe the property owners have started glomming up dat Section 8 money. The complex is getting more ghetto by the day, and I spend a lot of time deployed overseas, so I am NOT happy about this. Every time I come home, it's worse, and the management doesn't address anything. Haven't heard any small arms fire yet, but I predict it won't be long. We are moving the moment our lease is up next year. |
Whatever happens, we have got, the Maxim gun and they have not.
