Saw this. Impacts hunting, fishing, and pretty much any farming that produces animal products. I’d not be surprised if it even impacts pest control. The fallout of this is obscene. I can’t imagine something like this passing, but nothing shocks me anymore. On the off chance it passes, no doubt us in WA may face the same garbage. |
The revenue from hunting, sport fishing, commercial fishing and ranching must be miniscule in Oregon for anyone to consider this. All those fish cops up there better "Learn to code" Too. |

On top of all of the nonsense about hunting, fishing and farming, it redefines sexual assault to include animals. Milk a cow? Go to jail for sexual assault. The author of this bill must have had a discussion with a bunch of cows who complained the farmers were touching their teets. Makes sense given the lunacy of this bill. In a warped way I want to see what happens if it were to pass. I would be practicing non compliance, like Antifa in Portland, but I want to see the state squirm with this one! |

This seems to be less of a referendum on the actual legislation, and more about the signature-gathering process. There's no way 100k people sign for this if they truly understand it, even in the Valley. |

She is telling people what they want to hear to get the signature. She is not telling them what the initiative will actually do. “It is an animal cruelty initiative “. That is how they are selling it. She is paid for each signature she gets. She is not interested in telling the truth. As she said “It’ll never pass anyway!” She doesn’t know how stupid voters are or how corrupt the democrats can be. |

The big joke is why they are saying this was denied from being in the ballot. Over 30% of the signatures were fraudulent. That is the party line. The truth is once the Governor realized every hunter, fisherman and farmer would be coming out to vote she killed it. That voting block would overwhelm their own fraud campaign and flip the state. Don’t you find it interesting that over 30% of the signatures were fraudulent, yet the state wants us to believe our elections are secure? |
