Do all or at least most of the vendors show up on Friday?

I was thinking of going on Friday but it is a really long drive and so I don't want to go if the vendors wait until Saturday to show up.

I've gone on Friday afternoons, to avoid the Saturday crowd, and I've never noticed any empty tables.
