With the recent changes in the NFA/ ATF rules I want to start engraving a couple of lowers I can configure later. On the other hand, does anyone believe the NFA engraving requirements will go away? Any recommendations for the South side of town? I can do two or three. Thanks! |

I'd wait. ATF has a Proposed Rule to eliminate engraving as a requirement for a Form 1. I don't see this being stopped, as engraving serves no purpose. Also, if you're making your own SBR or SBS, if you're a member of the groups that were in the Jensen group (TSRA is one of them), you don't need to engrave. You do if you're in the GOA group. That group didn't challenge the engraving and so wasn't granted a judgement against it. |
