| Miami. House will be done in October. We bought some acreage in east Naples. I'll be backing up to the Panther Preserve so the likelihood of future development is slim to none. We are happy as shit. This city is a cancer to the state of FL. We run a business from home so there's no damn reason I need to see in my neighbors windows from my own house anymore!! Sorry, had to get on my hilltop and tell strangers on the internet. This was a long time coming and my family is ecstatic. |

We escaped to rural in North FL a little over 5 years ago now. We could never have afforded what we have up here anywhere in Central FL. Today this kind of property, if you could find it down there, would be north of 2 Mil. I miss a few things like being close enough to visit the oldest daughter and grandkids more and going to Universal HHN/Mardi Gras with them but overall, it's been a massive upgrade in our quality of life - even if it is a 30-mile drive to the nearest grocery store. I mean here, I can shoot on my property anytime I want (and feel up to it) and pee off my shop back porch and almost no one comes around to bother us. |
