There is a warbird museum somewhere near Molalla that has flying aircraft. They also perform at airshows. The Hillsboro airshow is coming up in May and the bigger one at McMinnville is in the fall. I believe the Blue Angels are performing at that one this year. To be honest, could have been anyone. There is quite a bit of civilian flight activity in this area. Have you been to any of the Salem airport warbird flyins? They also have a B17 they are restoring along with a small museum. You can actually walk around the B17 and read how far along they are with the airframe and power plant components. |
