Unrelated: does anybody here with for either Sanford or Avera, or even use them enough to have an opinion about how they are to work for? |

Work culture and environment is going to vary wildly depending on whether you're in Sioux Falls or in some 1,000 person town. Avera is the better of the two, but both are better than the average hospital system. That being said, it's healthcare, so benefits are still going to be a solid meh compared to other employers. The only places you're going to have both hospital systems to choose from are going to be near the "big" cities, the less populated areas have one or the other. |
