Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is the best hospital I've been in for care. I say this as having a mother as a nurse's aid, and a late grandmother and a current uncle as RNs. I've been in many civilian and VA hospitals. The attention I received after my eye surgery was outstanding. Nurses were constantly checking in on me. If I had an issue, it was addressed right there and then. Compared to when I had my back surgery at a VA hospital, where I was met with rude nurses who didn't give a flip out my wellbeing. After my back surgery, I told the nurse my legs were itching. Completely ignored for a hour or 2. Finally a nurse lifts the blanket to see my ankles were swollen. She quipped at me, saying to stop scratching them. Again, back surgery, I wasn't moving at all. I had to keep bitching to get a doctor to show up, only to find out it was a reaction to a blood transfusion. |
