Hey Houston guys….
I’m contemplating heading to Houston for an event at Reliant Stadium in late October.  
Is the area around there nice or garbage?   Any advice on nice hotels in the area, places to eat, etc.  
I’m an Ohio guy and I’ve only ever been to the airport on layovers.  Never been in the city.

Garbage.

Staying in the Galleria area on the west side of town will be your best bet.

Be advised 610 has terrible traffic on weekdays.

Good to know.  I’m only going to and from airport and hotel and then hotel/Reliant stadium so 4 uber rides.

Traffic on 610 is bad.  I wouldn't say it's garbage area but not high class.
