I was "abducted" from western PA in '78.

I'm trying to remember if the surface of the Ohio River
ever froze over, without resorting to the internet.

I prefer the real memories and stories from yinz,
versus an impersonal internet.

Photos would make my Saturday.

Wasnt solid, but there was ice across the river a few days ago.

Thanks. It's been decades since I lived there.

I couldn't remember if I saw the Ohio freeze.

I miss the kindness of the people back home.

Yea it's not super common, but it's has had ice on it for the better part of 2 weeks now. A couple days ago it snowed and the whole river was white. It was cool to see.
