Former Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge, Hannah Dugan will be sentenced today following her conviction on federal obstruction charges. We'll see if the feds really are interested in curbing "activist" judges who try and legislate from the bench or was this simply a "show" trial with no teeth behind it. Gary |

| A $5,000 fine - no jail. I wonder what the sentence would have been for a mere mortal. Her attorney said he is confident she'll win on appeal. I've just about lost my expectancy of any type of equity with the courts nowadays. No surprise, the "judge" who sentenced her is a past Democratic senator. "U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman declined to impose prison time or probation despite federal sentencing guidelines recommending between 15 and 21 months behind bars." |
