Have been to the Harrisburg show before but not the York show. Looking for info to compare the two, which one is more worth going to as both are coming up soon. I can't go to both. Are they similar in size, is one more full of flea market stuff, etc Thanks |

If you haven't been to York before, go to that one. There is some flea market junk here and there but it's a good show most of the time. Both can vary a good bit as far as number of vendors. Some vendors travel to different shows or don't come to shows. Gettysburg is the same way. I was there last weekend and there were many open spots that are usually filled. |

I prefer the York show. I think there are 2 different promoters who run shows in Harrisburg. The last one (CE promoters) was over Labor Day weekend, and frankly it sucked. Lots of unsold tables, hardly any customers, poor selection. I won't be going back. I just went to the York show, and while it was pretty slow, with less selection than usual, it wasn't too bad. |

If you're talking about the Harrisburg Great outdoor show at the farm show complex versus a gun show at the York fair grounds, and you want to go to a gun show, go to York. The Harrisburg outdoor show is only part guns. It's a lot of fishing, camping, boats, archery, knives, beef jerky, tasers, and outfitters selling hunting trips. If you want to see all that too, go to HBG. |
